path way
My path way started my sophomore year when I had taken beginning guitar with Ms. Wills. My first semester started of to a great start but towards the ending of my first semester everything started going downhill because my lack of practice and I wouldn't listen in class, I would be fooling around with my friends. When the second semester had started I made up all the work I didn't finish for the fall semester and so I got my grades up for that class. Throughout the rest of the second semester I kept practicing, but although I was practicing I wasn't trying hard enough to be a good guitarist just a decent one. As the semester ended I had signed up for this elective once again for my junior year but this time it was intermediate guitar which is a bit more difficult. Beginning of junior year was going great, I was passing all my classes, getting amazing grades, and doing amazing in guitar. I was doing better because now that I did not have any distractions in the classroom I could focus on my work. As I got better I was starting to see how guitar really worked and how everything connects somehow. At the end of the year I passed the class with a four and realised how much I enjoyed guitar and I also joined the honors group which is a group where 8 of the best players on campus join and practice together as an ensemble to perform for big events. Before I was planning on studying music and become a guitar professor or tutor but after my job shadow I realised how much hard work it takes to work in that field. Although I enjoy playing guitar I don't feel as if it's my true passion so I am now planning on studying structural steel fabrication.
